Amanda was my Pilates instructor over a six year period. I have a number of injuries and challenging physical conditions. Amanda has worked with me in a patient, encouraging and extending way. Amanda has challenged me to do things that I didn’t think I was capable of. I have learned to live in my body (rather than just in my head) and to be increasingly mindful of how I move.
She is a delight to be around, has a great sense of humour and wonderful attitude to life.
Amanda has an amazing energy and commitment to her clients’ wellbeing.

I highly recommend Be Lively Pilates to everyone, any age, and any fitness level. Pilates has really strengthened and toned my entire body. My posture is better, my core is stronger and I have flexibility that I didn't think was possible. I go as often as I can and look forward to each class. My advice to anyone considering pilates is try it! Find the time!
I have been with Amanda for a year now and can highly recommend her as an instructor. She is warm, friendly, and funny - a real point of difference. I have even managed to talk my husband into joining and we go as a couple once a week. After some initial scepticism, he admits to actually looking forward to it!
Amanda is exceptionally good at explaining not only what I should be doing but more importantly, why! And in a way we could both understand and relate to.
We enjoy the user friendly size of classes and facilities, and parking couldn’t be easier. Do it!!

Amanda has been my pilates instructor since she first qualified over 10 years ago. I have had a number of pilates teachers and I value the special qualities that Amanda brings to her teaching. I had recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis. My back was quite bent and my shoulders were very rounded. Amanda has customized my pilates programme to focus on my back issues, posture and strengthening my muscles to improve balance, lifting and carrying heavy objects (I am a keen gardener).
Apart from her lovely personality and great patience, her background in exercise science enables her to develop a programme to meet individual requirements and particular health issues. After breaking my wrist this year after one session with a physiotherapist I didn’t bother going back. I found Amanda’s approach in dealing with the body as an interrelated whole– treating the wrist in relation to the rest of the arm and body– was much more effective in strengthening my wrist.

“Making time for yourself after having a baby can be challenging but it is SO important.
Amanda helped me to feel confident getting back into exercise and provided a comfortable, fun space while being super flexible around baby.
Amandas passion for Pilates is infectious! She challenges you and is a wealth of knowledge, providing simple, effective tips to incorporate into every day. I absolutely love coming to Be Lively and could not recommend Amanda enough, especially for new Mums!!“
